House of Prayer, later as Fountain of Life, was the sponsoring church for Park Avenue Christian School. For over 40 years many lives were blessed by our school. Then the elders felt that God was changing our focus and PACS closed at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

PACS was started by a group of parents who wanted a quality education for their children in a christian atmosphere. It began with 28 students and grew to over 100.  Over the 40 years we had many students that graduated, got married, had children and then enrolled their children in our school desiring to give them the same experiences.  Our students were involved in state and international competitions with other Accelerated Christian Education schools and we always came home with honors and trophies.  We also had two basketball teams and a volleyball team.  Go Panthers! Eventually the difficult decision was made to close the school but our students are now adults in various states and occupations using their God-given gifts in their communities.  PACS gave them a foundation and a springboard to go into the world and make a difference.
